This year, I’m all about making things on the weekly.
The thing is, last year my goals were to do specific things EVERY DAY. After a while, that got really hard to accomplish with just one goal, but I had FOUR to keep up with.
This year, I’m going to go easier on myself in terms of production.
So no more writing 1000 words per day, no drawing two sketchbooks per day (though this year I’ll do my best to draw at least one each day, just to make sure I don’t get rusty), no more overloading myself with daily chores.
This year, I aim to…
Finish 1 New Illustration Every Week!
That will mean more prints on Storenvy, more shirts on Society6, more things to post on my social media feeds (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and DeviantArt, wink wink), and maybe even some art books in the future.
Read 1 New Comic Every Week!
Because I really want to bring back the Review Day Tuesday feature, I’m going to read new comics and talk about them for reviews. That, and it’s just super helpful as a writer and creative person to read as much as you can, when you can, and see the billions of ideas out in the world.
Speaking of Review Day Tuesdays, though, that also means my last goal is to…
Update YouTube Once A Week!
Not every YouTube update will be comic reviews, either! I’m not planning to be the next YouTube star (whatever that means). I’m just in it because I love videos and I love making and editing them. Video blogs, comics reviews, and maybe even some dance videos, will definitely be happening this year on my YouTube channel.
If you want to see how all these things will develop behind-the-scenes, I re-designed my Patreon Page to give you just that. There’s cool new rewards and lots of goals I hope to reach with your awesomeness and patronage.
That’s all I have for now. I’ll have a new update on Tuesday for sure, but I may be able to update my Illustrations page here on the site pretty soon.
Thank you for reading!
You. Are. Awesome.
