Good news, everyone!
The KickStarter to fund the printing of Johnson & Sir: The Collected Comics… is fully funded! That means the book is actually going to be printed, which is AWESOME.
Of course, now that the initial goal has been met, I have stretch goals to unleash, like mustaches upon the velociraptors! (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, you really should read Johnson & Sir).
I had to think about this one, mostly because I wasn’t 100% sure the first goal would be met in the first place. Thank you very much for defying my expectations!
Of course, now that I’ve thought about it, there’s a new stretch goal in mind now.
The new goal is $500. If we can reach that, not only will even more books be printed, but everybody will get a KickStarter-exclusive mini-print!
Digital backers (aka the $1 and $5 backers, and the digital-only higher rewards) will get the print as a desktop background. All those who order physical books will get the physical miniprint.
I really hope we get this next goal! Of course, none of this is possible without you, so please tell your friends and spread the word about Johnson & Sir’s silliness!
In the meantime, I’m going to polish up the book, the sketchbook, and a few other things before October 14th (the end date of the KickStarter). Plus there’s an announcement I need to prepare for Charlie & Clow on October 7th. Also, I’m going to do my best to post a video tomorrow on YouTube. It’s about my feature called Review Day Tuesday. Stay tuned for those new announcements.
