Last weekend I was selling my work at New Dimension Comics for their Free Graphic Novel Day event. That went really well! I even sold a couple of grab bags, which I made for the event.
Now it’s time to get ready for the Youngstown Indie Comics Expo – September 10th, from 11 am to 6 pm, at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Canfield (get more details here).
This year they have panels, and I’m going to be on TWO of them! The first is at 1 pm, called “Small Press Comics… Why Would You Want To Do That?” I’ll be on with four other people and a moderator talking about why I got into the business of webcomics. The next panel is at 3:30, “Patron and Patron Saint.” It’s all about Patreon, how it works, and what patrons and artists get out of the service.
Speaking of Patreon, patrons who give love and support will be getting a secret announcement within the next day or two. Plus, if all goes well, you’ll be getting some new mini-comics before the end of the month.
Newsletter subscribers – you may have noticed I haven’t emailed the latest update yet. There’s a secret I’m crafting together, and when it’s ready, you’ll get the update. If you’re not subscribed already, you can do that here (it’s free and spam-free).
There’s lots to take care of before the end of the week, so I have to log off for now.
Thanks for reading!
You. Are. Awesome.
